Our protagonist, the blue-skinned racquetball was born to a certain Mr. and Mrs. Pollakburg (their first names omitted for privacy) and was heralded as both an accident of nature and a scientific miracle (that is, the fact that a human had carried a sentient racquetball to full term). However, many groups doubted the possibility that Marmaduke could be a natural creature, musing instead that he was in fact an experiment into realms taboo. Eventually, the Pollakburgs were forced into exile by the unrelentingly negative press. By this time, though, Marmaduke had matured physically and mentally to a point where he felt it necessary to attempt living on his own. Recently, he's moved to a pretty mountainside village where he often takes walks to contemplate his existence and status as a being. The markings on his face do not seem to have any real function, as the mouth-like form might suggest.
Traits & Personality: 1 foot tall, blue-rubber skin, bounces with a "squeak" sound, resistant to radiation, tenacious, but kind of goes with the flow.
